This programme aims to change the organisation to a faster, more entrepreneurial and customer centric company. To support this journey we have set up a central team at the heart of our organisation uniting programme management, change and communication to – together – help the organisation deliver its ambitions.
The corporate office of the transformation programme unites programme management, change and communication. The team is set up as a shared service pool, working across the different change work streams.
Your challenge
- The purpose of the role is to develop and implement an effective internal communications strategy in close coordination and alignment with the change management plans and aligned with all key stakeholders to ensure the right scope, intensity andrealisation of the programme work stream and business objectives.
Your responsibilities
- The Communication Manager serves as a trusted advisor of executive leaders with regards to the development and implementation of the internal communication strategy and realisation of its business objectives.
The key responsibilities of the role include:
- Develop an integrated internal communication strategy for the designated work stream, closely aligned with the change management plans;
- Implement the communication strategy through active collaboration with a diverse array of stakeholders across the business;
- Develop communication materials and tools and create content (proof points/success stories/videos) as part of the communication plan and for use in overall global communication about the programme;
- Creatively develop new approaches for engagement and collaboration with leaders/stakeholders/employees using interactive platforms (social media) such as Connect Us;
- Manage the communication platforms used by the work stream (eg sharepoint, social media platforms, and intranet);
- Active involvement in the programme transformation communication team to develop new strategies, develop content and share communication best practices with the objective to support the overall change programme.
- You have a Bachelor or Masters Degree in a Business or Communication related major;
- You have at least 6 years of relevant working experience, developing and implementing internal communication strategies in a global communication environment working across different stakeholder groups and utilizing interactive internal communication platforms (social media), focused on high interaction and engagement. You have proven experience in content creation (writing and editing stories, presentations);
- Able to motivate, influence and convince;
- Quickly adapt to fast changing environments;
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken;
- Understand communication requirements and effectiveness in a global matrix organisation, and respect cultural diversities.
This position requires a high level of business understanding and business sense, strong analytical skills and ownership to team up and work with dedication and passion. You are also expected to have good business ethics and integrity. Ideally you have a global vision, international experience and have developed intercultural awareness.
