Where does the name Babbage come from?

Charles Babbage (1791 – 1871) was a British philosopher and inventor, known as the “father of the computer”. He developed the Difference Engine and the Analytical Engine, precursors to the modern computer. His ideas about automated computation and programmable machines laid the foundation for the digital revolution. Charles Babbage
