Central government chooses Babbage l Beaumont

Amsterdam, June 1, 2023. The Dutch government has selected the combination of Babbage Company and Beaumont Communicatie & Management as one of the five contract partners for seven ministries for full-service communication services. 

“By winning this tender, we have completed the circle,” says Merlijn Wessels, manager of the Inhouse Bureau for Communication & Content at Babbage. “Babbage was already a preferred supplier for hiring communication and spokesperson capacity for the central government and now, in collaboration with Beaumont, also for communication advice and implementation. As the Babbage l Beaumont combination, we can also make a valuable contribution on a project basis in the coming years to the major social and therefore communicative challenges that the government is facing.”

Social challenges

Four years, seven ministries

Babbage | Beaumont is the preferred supplier for seven ministries and many of the services and organisations that fall under them. For the next four years, this will involve the ministries of General Affairs, the Interior and Kingdom Relations, Economic Affairs and Climate, Finance, Justice and Security and the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Quality. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will join when its current framework agreement expires in 2025.
