About the speaker

For over twenty years, Cathelijn has been providing writing training to communication professionals at companies such as Babbage and Loo van Eck. She also coaches academics in writing accessible articles and texts for a broad audience. Furthermore, Cathelijn works as a copywriter and as a prose teacher at the Writers' School. For many years, she was a guest lecturer in creative writing at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences. In 2005, Cathelijn wrote her first novel, "De eenling" (The Loner), and shortly after, in 2012, her second book, "Eerst een Huis" (First a House), was published. Previously, she also wrote news stories for VPRO radio programs, and currently writes short stories for the literary magazine Hollands Maandblad.

This Young Logeion event was developed in collaboration with Babbage and is a must-have for any aspiring (writing) talent.
