We respect the privacy of visitors to our website and ensure that the personal information you provide is treated confidentially. Processing of personal data is done in a manner that is in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act.

Purposes of data processing

We process personal data to perform our services: mediating in a (temporary) job or assignment. In addition, we process personal data to be able to make you offers and/or provide information about the services and other activities. And to approach you for possible events such as masterclasses, speed dates, network meetings that may be of interest to you. In the event of a possible deployment, we also need your data to offer a contract, for contact during and after your assignment and to meet our possible financial obligations.

Newsletters

We publish newsletters with which we inform interested parties about news in the field of our services and related matters. We only add your email address to the list of subscribers if you have given explicit permission for this. Each newsletter contains a link with which you can unsubscribe. The subscriber file of the newsletter is not provided by us to third parties.

What personal data do we process?

When you register and/or apply for a job, we process the following personal data:

In case of any deployment, in addition to the above personal data, we also process your IBAN in order to meet our payment obligations. If you are working as a self-employed person, in addition to the IBAN, we also need the registration number in the Chamber of Commerce and your VAT number.

Social networks

Our website includes buttons to promote or share pages on social networks. Google, Meta, Twitter (X) en LinkedInThese buttons are realized by code that is provided by Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn themselves. Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to track how visitors use our website. We also analyze how effective our Adwords campaigns are in Google search results. The data obtained, including the IP address (the address of your computer), is transferred by Google to servers in the United States and stored there. Google uses this information to track how our website is used, to be able to provide reports about our website and to offer advertisers information about the effectiveness of their campaigns. Google may provide this information to third parties if they are legally obliged to do so or to the extent that these third parties process the information on behalf of Google. Storage period

Babbage Company BV does not store your personal data for longer than is necessary for the purpose of the data processing, or is required under the Archives Act. The retention period is 1 year if you register with Babbage Company. After 1 year, you will automatically receive an e-mail from Babbage Company asking whether we may store your data for longer. In the event of any deployment, we will adhere to the statutory retention period. You will then automatically receive another e-mail asking whether we may store your data for longer.

How to access, correct or delete your data?

You have the right to view your personal data and the right to request correction or deletion of your personal data. In addition, you can object to the use of your personal data. Does it appear that your data is incorrect, incomplete or irrelevant? You can submit an additional request to have your data changed, supplemented or deleted.

Babbage Company does not sell your information to third parties and will only provide it if this is necessary for; the execution of our service, our agreement with a client, our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation.

With companies that process your data as a result of our assignment, we conclude a processing agreement to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. Babbage Company remains responsible for these processes.
