Your responsibilities as a Communications & Branding Expert are:

In this role, you’re contributing to the execution of the global corporate communications strategy to inform, engage and connect internal audiences and build brand ambassadors through diverse channels, media and tools. You’ll be exploring digital and other ways to get Caldic’s stories across; think for instance of podcast, blog, video and other tools. It’s your job to deliver key messages in a compelling way. You’ll create content with varying lengths and for different formats - from interviews to posts - with a conversational, engaging tone of voice.

What does this entail?
• Strengthen our corporate brand; shaping and delivering an online and offline program that is focussed on enhancing visibility and engagement;
• Business partner support and content creation for key initiatives from adjacent functions such as HR, Legal and QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety and Environment);
• Ensuring that the content you create and existing content is on-brand and aligned with the brand positioning Caldic is aiming to achieve;
• Assess and report on analytics to evaluate engagement levels across digital channels (like Yammer) and suggest improvement proposals;
• Monitor implementation of brand guidance and graphic standards and secure compliance across the global organization.

We are looking for a Communications & Branding Expert with

• A Master's degree in Communication, Marketing, Journalism, Design, English or similar;
• 5+ years of experience in a communications or marketing communications role, in a dynamic international B2B organization;
• Extensive experience with storytelling, visualization, videos and vlogs;
• Excellent editorial, written and verbal communication skills with an eye for detail and strong execution;
• A high proficiency in the English language or a native speaker.

You’re also:
• Digital savvy, familiar with common content management systems (e.g., Sitecore and SharePoint) and video editing tools. Experience with graphic design software is a plus;
• Creative and able to develop content that is original and generates engagement;
• An outstanding communicator, who is able to connect and engage stakeholders on all levels;
• Project management skills: ability to manage several projects. Building and maintaining positive relationships with international colleagues and external parties;
• A team player and inspiring sparring partner, that brings in flair and flexibility;
• Independent and self-starting with the drive to get things done!

You will be part of the corporate communications team based in Rotterdam and work closely with the communications colleagues (5 FTEs). You will report to the Director of Corporate Communications, and liaise with HR, Marketing, Sales and stakeholders at all levels to deliver excellent and creative content. This also includes engagement with regional offices in North-America, Latin America, Asia Pacific and Europe.
